Custom Painting

Horizon Firearms can custom paint barrels, actions, and stocks in a variety of colors using highly durable and scratch/impact/weather-resistant coatings that give your rifle a distinctive look that suits your style and tastes. The variety of colors, finishes and patterns available distinguish your rifle with a one-of-a-kind signature. For metal parts, we use the superior KG Gun Kote protective coatings from our fellow Texans at KG Industries in Tyler. The hard coating is applied wet and then baked to open the metal so that the paint bonds with its pores. When it cools, it provides a durability that is far superior to common black oxide paint. It is available in a number of colors and a range of finishes including flat, matte and gloss. Stock paint colors and patterns are only limited by your imagination. We use Krylon paint with a unique drying process that adds durability and resistance to prevent damage and fading. The colors we commonly have on hand are deep flat black, titanium grey with white fleck, Magpul tan, Mil Spec green, foliage green and a unique Texas Tea shade. Other colors are available on request.
